FSSAI-Compliant Dairy Plants — Built, Upgraded & Audited
We engineer dairy plants that produce FSSAI-compliant product from day one — and upgrade existing plants to meet today’s tightening food-safety norms. Real process and manufacturing experience, not just paperwork.

FSSAI enforcement has sharpened: stricter inspections, tighter licensing conditions, and real consequences for non-compliance — licence suspension, product recalls and penalties. For dairy, one of India’s most closely regulated food categories, compliance is no longer optional paperwork — it decides whether you can operate, supply institutional buyers and export. For plant owners who get ahead of it, it is a genuine competitive advantage.
Compliance Built Into the Plant — Not Just Stapled Into a File
Most FSSAI providers sell paperwork — documentation, filing, a checklist. That does not make your product safe; your plant does. FSSAI compliance is physical: hygienic design, food-grade materials, CIP, contamination control, temperature and traceability. Engineering it takes real process and manufacturing experience — which most consultants simply do not have.
Our FSSAI Services for Dairy Plants
Build FSSAI-Compliant Plants
New dairy plants engineered to FSSAI Schedule 4 hygienic-design standards — food-grade SS 304/316 contact surfaces, CIP, contamination-controlled layout, inspection-ready from day one.
Upgrade Existing Plants to Compliance
Convert and retrofit your running plant so it produces FSSAI-compliant product — hygienic-design fixes, material upgrades, automated CIP and temperature/traceability control — without a full rebuild.
FSSAI Compliance Checklist Audit
A structured gap audit of your plant against FSSAI Schedule 4 & FSMS requirements, delivered as a clear report with a prioritised corrective-action plan.
FSMS & Documentation Support
HACCP-based food-safety management system, records and process documentation that stand up to FSSAI inspection — so the plant and the paperwork match.
What FSSAI Compliance Actually Takes
Compliance isn’t a certificate — it’s engineered into the plant. What we design, retrofit and verify:

- Food-grade contact materials (SS 304 / 316)
- CIP & sanitation systems
- Contamination-controlled layout & zoning
- Water quality & utility hygiene
- Cold chain & critical temperature control
- Automated traceability & batch records
- Pest control, drainage & effluent

FSSAI Compliance — Common Questions
What’s the difference between an FSSAI licence and an FSSAI-compliant plant?
An FSSAI licence is a registration to operate. An FSSAI-compliant plant is one physically engineered to meet FSSAI Schedule 4 — hygienic layout, food-grade materials, CIP, contamination control and traceability — so the product is safe and the plant passes inspection. A licence on paper does not make a plant compliant; the engineering does. ATMAN builds and upgrades the plant itself — we do not file licence applications.
Do you handle FSSAI licence registration, or only plant compliance?
We focus on plant compliance — designing and building FSSAI-compliant dairy plants and upgrading existing plants to Schedule 4 standards. We are process and manufacturing engineers, not a licensing agent. Our work is the physical plant, hygienic design and FSMS/HACCP systems that make FSSAI approval achievable.
Can you make my existing dairy plant FSSAI-compliant without a full rebuild?
Yes. Most gaps — hygienic design, contact materials, CIP, temperature control and traceability — can be retrofit onto your existing plant. We audit first, then upgrade only what is needed.
What does an FSSAI compliance audit cover?
Your plant and process against FSSAI Schedule 4 hygienic-design and FSMS requirements — design, materials, CIP, contamination control and records — delivered as a report with a corrective-action plan.
Do you handle FSSAI licensing paperwork too?
Our core strength is the engineering that makes compliance real — building and upgrading the plant. We also guide the food-safety documentation / FSMS and coordinate with your licensing so the physical plant and the paperwork match.
What standards do you build to?
FSSAI Schedule 4, FSMS / HACCP principles, and Codex hygienic-design practice.
Why an engineering firm over a compliance consultant?
Because compliance lives in the plant, not the file. ATMAN brings process + manufacturing + turnkey project experience, so your plant genuinely produces compliant product — not just a certificate.
