Role purpose

Fabricate and fit MS and SS structures, skid frames, platforms and supports, and align equipment to drawing.

Key responsibilities

Fabrication

  • Mark, cut, drill and grind MS and SS sections and plates.
  • Fit up skid frames, platforms, ladders, pipe racks and supports for welding; tack-weld as required.
  • Check dimensions, squareness and level before and after welding.

Installation

  • Place, level and align tanks, skids, pumps and other equipment.
  • Fix anchor bolts and support grouting.
  • Assemble and dismantle components as required.

Safety

  • Use PPE and follow safety rules for work at height and lifting.
  • Keep tools and the work area in order.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of fabrication fitting experience.
  • Ability to read GA and fabrication drawings.
  • Use of measuring tools, levels and power tools.

How performance is measured

  • Fabrication completed against the plan.
  • Zero dimensional rework.
  • Zero safety incidents.
