A Three-State Frontier District On The Deccan Plateau

Bidar sits at the top corner of Karnataka where the state meets Maharashtra and Telangana, on high plateau land with black cotton soil and a mixed agricultural and livestock economy. Its border position means a plant here can realistically sell into three states from a single dispatch dock.

It also means the operator has to work three different regulatory, tax and trade environments, and design pack presentation and documentation accordingly. On the engineering side, black cotton soil is the item most often overlooked — it swells and shrinks with moisture and demands foundation design that a generic layout will not provide.

Plant Types We Are Most Often Asked For Here

Ghee Plant — shelf-stable and freely tradeable across all three neighbouring state markets. See our ghee plant scope →

Curd & Yogurt Plant — dependable daily demand across the district’s towns and the nearby border markets. See our curd and yogurt plant scope →

How We Work With Clients in the Bidar Belt

We deliver a Bidar project as one engineering responsibility including the ground it stands on — foundation and civil interface, process design, dairy machinery and dairy equipment, dairy automation, commissioning and continuing dairy parts support.

Local context we already carry: In Karnataka we have executed dairy projects at Kanakapura in Ramanagara district and at Bengaluru — so this state is not new ground for our engineering, commissioning and dairy parts teams. Nationally, we have executed NDDB dairy projects at Sahibganj and Deoghar in Jharkhand, delivered end to end by our own process, dairy automation and electrical teams. The same discipline in dairy machinery selection and dairy parts support carries into every Bidar project we take on.

Scope We Deliver on a Bidar Project

A Bidar project is taken as one engineering responsibility from concept to a running line — soil-aware civil interface, process design, dairy machinery supply, dairy automation, commissioning and continuing dairy parts support.

Process design and plant layout — mass balance, utility sizing and floor plan worked around your milk profile and the site you have.

Dairy machinery and dairy equipment supply — pasteurisers, homogenisers, silos, heat exchangers, CIP and flow components engineered and fabricated at our own works.

Dairy automation and electricals — PLC/SCADA, control panels and instrumentation built in-house, not bought in and bolted on.

Installation and commissioning — our own erection and commissioning teams travel to site and stay until the line runs to specification.

After-sales and dairy parts — spares, wear components and service support that continue long after handover, so the plant stays serviceable for its full life.

Dairy Equipment & Systems We Supply

Alongside complete plants we design, manufacture and commission the individual systems that go inside them. Every item below is supplied to Bidar as engineered, installed and commissioned equipment — not as loose parts — and can be ordered on its own or as part of a turnkey contract.

Discuss Your Bidar Project

Tell us the plant type and the capacity you have in mind and one of our engineers will come back to you with a scope and an indicative budget. Design, supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales sit under a single contract, so there is one team to hold answerable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you manufacture in Bidar?

Our manufacturing and engineering works are in Ahmedabad. We are not a local Bidar fabricator and do not claim to be. We execute dairy projects in Bidar as a service — design, supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales — with our engineers on your site for the full build.

Does black cotton soil really change the build?

Yes. It expands and contracts with moisture, and foundations designed without accounting for it crack floors and misalign equipment within a few years. It is a soil investigation and design question, and it is cheap to get right at the start.

Can I sell into neighbouring states from here?

Commercially the geography supports it. The plant design barely changes; what changes is your labelling, documentation and distribution setup, which we will flag but which sits with your commercial and legal team.

What plant types do you build?

Liquid milk, paneer, cheese, mozzarella, curd and yogurt, ghee, butter, ice cream, milk powder, lassi and buttermilk, shrikhand, mawa and khoa, flavoured milk, whey processing and pouch milk packing plants.

Do you supply dairy machinery, dairy parts and dairy automation separately?

Yes. Apart from turnkey dairy plants we supply individual dairy machinery and dairy equipment, control panels and dairy automation systems, and we stock fast-moving dairy parts for units already running in Bidar.

What is your track record?

ATMAN Group has been engineering since 2008 and has delivered dairy work across 21 states. In Karnataka we have executed dairy projects at Kanakapura in Ramanagara district and at Bengaluru, and nationally we have executed NDDB dairy projects at Sahibganj and Deoghar in Jharkhand, all delivered end to end by our own process, automation and electrical teams.
