Discuss Your Sagar Project WhatsApp Our EngineersBundelkhand’s Anchor District, and Its Rainfall Problem
Sagar is the largest urban and institutional centre in Bundelkhand, with a university, cantonment and administrative base that give it dependable local demand. It also sits in a region where rainfall varies sharply from year to year, and fodder availability — and therefore milk volume — moves with it. A plant here has a solid market and an unreliable supply, which is the opposite of most district projects.
The design answer is a buffer. We recommend a liquid core sized to the dependable local demand, plus conversion capacity that can absorb a good year and produce something storable from it. That way a strong monsoon does not drown the plant in milk it cannot sell, and a weak one does not leave a large fresh line unfed. Storage, both cold and dry, is deliberately generous, because in a variable-supply district storage is what converts luck into cash.
Plant Types We Are Most Often Asked For Here
Liquid Milk Processing Plant — Sagar’s institutional and urban demand supports a steady liquid base that most Bundelkhand districts cannot offer. See our liquid milk processing plant scope →
Milk Powder Plant — Powder is the buffer that lets a good rainfall year be banked instead of sold cheap, and carried into a poor one. See our milk powder plant scope →

How We Work With Clients in the Bundelkhand Region
One contract covering process engineering, dairy equipment supply, utilities, electrical and control panels, dairy automation, installation, commissioning and operator training — with a deliberate split between demand-sized fresh capacity and supply-driven conversion capacity.
Local context we already carry: We have executed dairy projects inside Madhya Pradesh — at Bhopal and at Gwalior — so this state is not new ground for our engineering, commissioning and dairy parts teams. We have also executed NDDB dairy projects at Sahibganj and Deoghar in Jharkhand, delivered end to end by our own process, dairy automation and electrical teams. The same discipline in dairy machinery selection and dairy parts support carries into every Sagar project we take on.
Scope We Deliver on a Sagar Project
A Sagar project is taken as one engineering responsibility from concept to a running line — process, utilities, water and effluent designed together, because in this district they cannot sensibly be separated.
Process design and plant layout — mass balance, utility sizing and floor plan worked around your milk profile and the site you have.
Dairy machinery and dairy equipment supply — pasteurisers, homogenisers, silos, heat exchangers, CIP and flow components engineered and fabricated at our own works.
Dairy automation and electricals — PLC/SCADA, control panels and instrumentation built in-house, not bought in and bolted on.
Installation and commissioning — our own erection and commissioning teams travel to site and stay until the line runs to specification.
After-sales and dairy parts — spares, wear components and service support that continue long after handover, so the plant stays serviceable for its full life.
Dairy Equipment & Systems We Supply
Alongside complete plants we design, manufacture and commission the individual systems that go inside them. Every item below is supplied to Sagar as engineered, installed and commissioned equipment — not as loose parts — and can be ordered on its own or as part of a turnkey contract.
Discuss Your Sagar Project
Tell us the plant type and the capacity you have in mind and one of our engineers will come back to you with a scope and an indicative budget. Design, supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales sit under a single contract, so there is one team to hold answerable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you manufacture in Sagar?
Our manufacturing and engineering works are in Ahmedabad. We are not a local Sagar fabricator and do not claim to be. We execute dairy projects in Sagar as a service — design, supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales — with our engineers on your site for the full build.
Why split the plant into two capacities?
Because demand and supply do not move together here. Sizing fresh capacity to the market and conversion capacity to the milk shed protects the plant in both a good rainfall year and a bad one.
Is powder capacity justified in a district this size?
As a buffer, yes. Its purpose is not to run continuously but to absorb surplus in strong years, which is precisely the risk a Bundelkhand plant needs to hedge.
What plant types do you build?
Liquid milk, paneer, cheese, mozzarella, curd and yogurt, ghee, butter, ice cream, milk powder, lassi and buttermilk, shrikhand, mawa and khoa, flavoured milk, whey processing and pouch milk packing plants.
Do you supply dairy machinery, dairy parts and dairy automation separately?
Yes. Apart from turnkey dairy plants we supply individual dairy machinery and dairy equipment, control panels and dairy automation systems, and we stock fast-moving dairy parts for units already running in Sagar.
What is your track record?
ATMAN Group has been engineering since 2008. In Madhya Pradesh we have executed dairy projects at Bhopal and Gwalior, and nationally we have executed NDDB dairy projects at Sahibganj and Deoghar in Jharkhand, all delivered end to end by our own process, automation and electrical teams.
