Do you work on kiln and spray dryer control?
Yes. Temperature profiling and zone control, combustion and gas-train interlocks, drive coordination on the line, and the operator HMIs and reporting that sit over them are regular scope for us in process plants of this type.
Can you retrofit controls without replacing the machine?
Usually yes. Where the mechanical plant is sound, we replace the control and drive layer, reuse the field wiring where it is fit, and keep the machine in service. Replacing a working machine to modernise its controls is rarely the cheaper answer.
